My Mentors passion and dedication truly inspired my journey in the events industry! I can remember this as a key motivation for my career. how their enthusiasm made the fast paced, challenging nature of my early experiences rewarding. I have embraced my mentors passion and transformed it into my own expression of "Love" through my senses as a chef. I pour my heart into everything I do, which truly sets my work apart.

2. Can you share a memorable challenge you faced in your role and how you overcame it?

We had this Tech group that were very vague on request for menus really pushed me and the Chefs to be innovative and elevate our craft, and we rose to the challenge. The fact that they kept returning shows just how much our "Love" and creativity resonated with them. Experiences like that are incredibly fulfilling!

3. In your opinion, what is the most exciting trend or innovation currently shaping the event planning landscape?

Food sustainability is an important trend, so I try to incorporate it into our event menus. My focus on eco - friendly practices and minimizing waste shows a positive impact on our environment.

4. How do you collaborate with stakeholders to create unforgettable experiences for clients? Exploring collaboration practices showcases the interconnected nature of the industry and provides insights into teamwork and coordination.

I feel with more of a personalized approach to collaborating with clients is very effective. By truly understanding their preferences and tailoring experiences to their group, we are able to create those "WOW" moments that makes an event unforgettable. I bring a lot of passion and thoughtfulness into my work.

5. What advice would you give to someone aspiring to your role in the event industry?

Cooking from the heart and fostering leadership by guiding others are key aspects of growth "Growing the Garden" is a thoughtful way to not only mentor but also ensure a legacy of excellence, allowing both me and the team to advance.

It’s amazing how that first experience in a resort setting sparked my passion for events. sometimes it takes getting hands on in this industry to really find that direction, and its moments like that that help clarify my path in such an exciting way!
