For the Bakers

  • Sweet Treats 🎃

    • Monster Cookies

      • Easy Recipe: Follow your favorite sugar cookie recipe but add food coloring (we recommend green, purple, red, and blue) before you bake! After they’re done in the oven, stick as many candy eyeballs on as your cold heart desires  (the more, the freakier), and BAM: Monster Cookies!

      • Original Recipe: If you want to kick it up a notch and try something new, try this special recipe

    • Halloween Donuts (Bats, Monsters, Pumpkins, Spiders)

    • Bubbling Popcorn Cauldrons

      • Follow this simple recipe and you will have a spooky sweet treat that brings out your inner witch!

      • Spoiler: you’ll need a small set of cauldrons, popcorn, lime Jell-o, corn syrup, sugar, and butter to make your delicious potions!

    • Teeth Cookies

      • Follow this twisted tutorial on Instagram!

      • Here’s the gist: Cut a cookie in half (we recommend sugar cookies), coat one side of both of the halves with red frosting, stick mini marshmallows around the outside perimeter of the bottom half (the mallows are the teeth). Then place the top half onto the bottom (frosting side, in) to create your creepy chomper cookies. For some added spook, use almonds to make fangs!

    • Haunted House

      • Think Gingerbread house but spooky!! We love this Country Living recipe, but if you want to simplify: buy a gingerbread house kit and then spooky it up! This is easily done: buy some grey/silver and black icing, green sprinkles, and candies (eyeballs, skeletons, graveyards, there are so many options!)

    • Boo Brownies (Ghosts)

      • There are a couple of versions of these available, but most use marshmallows to make ghosts (I’m sure you could also use white icing). Here are a couple from Betty Crocker, Country Living, and Delish!

    • Graveyard Cake

      • Make a chocolate cake, cover in chocolate icing, use that chocolate icing to write “RIP” on Milano Cookies, and stick them into the cake (your gravestones), for finishing touches, add green sprinkles to make grass and candied skeletons to make it appear as if the dead are coming to life!

  • Spooky Savory 🧟‍♂️

    • Jack-O-Lantern Quesadillas

      • Cut your quesadilla into little jacks! First, create the pumpkin shape and then carve out eyes and a mouth, the same way you carve a pumpkin! Fill it with your choice of cheese blend and then cook. You can throw these in the oven for a couple of minutes or cook in a pan, stove top style. Either way- delicious!

      • This is really easy to freestyle but if you’re a buy the book person, follow this recipe!

      • Pro Tip: If you want to repurpose those mini cauldrons (from the popcorn recipe), scoop guacamole and salsa in them to make potions; perfect to dip your ‘dillaz in!

      • Want tortilla chips instead? Cut the tortilla into a pumpkin shape, cook them in oil. Serve with your favorite dips, Booooom!

    • Monster Meatball Sliders

    • Mummy Hot Dogs

      • Pigs in a blanket: Halloween edition! This appetizer is so cute and very easy! Wrap crescent roll dough around a hot dog, bake them, and then add mustard for eyes!

      • Here’s a recipe!

      • You can also mummify your jalapeño poppers!

    • Deviled Eggs (Pumpkin Shaped)

      • These are the cutest deviled eggs! You can follow this smokey recipe or make deviled eggs the way you always do and then decorate them into pumpkins! Use a fork to create the pumpkin lines and then stick a mini gherkin to create the stem!

    • Feet Loaf

      • Yeah, we know… GROSS. Meatloaf in the shape of bloody, stumpy feet? What more could we want to get us feeling spooky?! Check out this Tasty Recipe!

  • Quench Your Thirst 🧛🏼‍♂️

    • Eyeball Punch

      • Our Recipe: Start with any red-colored fruit juice - it can be cranberry, cherry, or whatever you prefer! Add sparkling water, cider, or wine (depending on if this a family-friendly drink, maybe make two separate batches!). Feel free to add your favorite berries and citrus fruits for an extra punch! Pour into a glass drink dispenser, toss in fake eyeballs, and it’s ready to serve!

      • If you’re a more experienced mixologist (or you prefer hard liquor), check out this Food Network recipe!

    • Pumpkin Latte

      • Do you love Pumpkin Spice but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg buying a drink every day? Make them at home! There are so many ways to make this cozy beverage. You can try one of these from Delish or Food Network, they’re delicious!

      • However, I’m a little lazier so I keep it simple! Our Recipe: Your favorite espresso (or strong brew), milk (steamed, if you’re drinking it hot), Pumpkin Pie Syrup, Pumpkin Pie Sauce (drizzle). Topped with Whipped Cream and sprinkled Pumpkin Pie Spice!

    • Chai and Pumpkin Latte

      • Again, you can order this at Starbucks. Simply customize your chai latte by adding pumpkin sauce, and pumpkin pie spice (or pumpkin cold cream if you’re having it iced). However many of us may not want to leave the comfort of our home, spend the extra money, or may not even like Starbucks… so if you want to make it at home, here’s how to do it.
