The ELE Speaker LaunchPad is Ready for Takeoff 🚀

Looking for the perfect speaker can be a daunting task. There are tons of great speakers out there on almost every topic imaginable, but sorting through them and finding the right one for you can be overwhelming. Headliners cost a fortune, up-and-comers can be very affordable and impactful, but are also a risk (will they truly resonate? Do they know this content well enough? Will people come & listen to someone they don’t know?).

At ELE, we’ve spent years working with speakers from workshop facilitators and breakout session speakers to big-name, marquee headliners (that cost upwards of $50k per a 60-min presentation!). We’ve worked with the best of the best, and we know talent when we see it. Just because someone isn’t on the main stage today, doesn’t mean that they aren’t main stage material. Some of the best keynote speakers came out of those modest breakout sessions and workshops. Consider back to your last event: who was the speaker people couldn’t stop talking about? Maybe it was your keynote, but more likely, it was a surprisingly insightful and compelling breakout speaker that knew the content, resonated with the audience, and delivered a stellar presentation.

As event planners and programmers, we know the responsibility we have to our audiences. We know content is king. We have the unique ability to amplify voices when they go through the speaker selection process. The LaunchPad is not your run-of-the-mill speaker’s bureau. We see it as a chance to uplift speakers who may not have had the opportunities to access these events or audiences. We believe in uplifting the voices of the under-represented, with a particular emphasis on black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC), activists, women, and less traditional speakers such as musicians, artists, and young people. 

The ELE Speaker LaunchPad is the ideal place for speakers to continue their journey and to level up their professional brand. Using our platform, expertise, and reach, we seek to ease the barriers to entry for high quality, up-and-coming speakers. We will connect these needed voices to those opportunities that will expand their professional brand and overall impact. 

As we launch the LaunchPad, we’ll be adding more speakers to our up-and-coming bureau, including the fearless ELE team leader, Erin Leonard, who has been facilitating interviews, emceeing, and speaking about the power of events, community, and social change for a decade. Adding to our catalog of diverse and talented speakers will allow ELE to take the time to truly connect these voices to opportunities where they will make the most significant impact.
